TAME SUPERCUSPIDAL REPRESENTATIONS OF GLn DISTINGUISHED BY ORTHOGONAL INVOLUTIONS
For a p-adic field F of characteristic zero, the embeddings of a tame supercuspidal representation π of G = GLn(F ) in the space of smooth functions on the set of symmetric matrices in G are determined. It is shown that the space of such embeddings is nonzero precisely when −1 is in the kernel of π and, in this case, this space has dimension four. In addition, the space of H-invariant linear fo...
متن کاملTame Loci of Generalized Local Cohomology Modules
Let $M$ and $N$ be two finitely generated graded modules over a standard graded Noetherian ring $R=bigoplus_{ngeq 0} R_n$. In this paper we show that if $R_{0}$ is semi-local of dimension $leq 2$ then, the set $hbox{Ass}_{R_{0}}Big(H^{i}_{R_{+}}(M,N)_{n}Big)$ is asymptotically stable for $nrightarrow -infty$ in some special cases. Also, we study the torsion-freeness of graded generalized local ...
متن کاملFlyspeck I: Tame Graphs
We present a verified enumeration of tame graphs as defined in Hales’ proof of the Kepler Conjecture and confirm the completeness of Hales’ list of all tame graphs while reducing it from 5128 to 2771 graphs.
متن کاملA Note on Lifting Brauer Characters
A Brauer character of a finite group may be lifted to an ordinary character if it lies in a block whose defect groups are contained in a normal p-solvable subgroup. By the Fong-Swan theorem [2, Theorem 72.1], an irreducible Brauer character of a finite p-solvable group G may be lifted to an ordinary (complex) character of G. In other words, every Brauer character is the restriction of some ...
متن کاملglN type-I integrable defects
Type-I quantum defects are considered in the context of the glN spin chain. The type-I defects are associated to the generalized harmonic oscillator algebra, and the chosen defect matrix is the one of the vector non-linear Schrödinger (NLS) model. The transmission matrices relevant to this particular type of defects are computed via the Bethe ansatz methodology.
